On this route we will visit another of the islands of the Illas Atlánticas National
Park, the most unknown of all, Cortegada, an island that boasts the largest
laurel forest in Europe. In order to approach this island, we will depart from the
port of Carril in a boat which will take us to this natural environment.
Once there, an interpretative itinerary will be carried out, lead by specialist guides from the park. Between its forest and paths we will hear stories and discover heritage until recently forgotten by society, the intention is to create a perfect symbiosis between visitor and nature and thus create an unforgettable experience.
At the end of the itinerary we will return to the port of Carril. After a short rest and to end the route, we will go to the neighbourhood of San Tomé in Cambados where we can enjoy an experience with the shellfish from the area, explaining their work and shellfish techniques.
