My journey began in the winter of 2012, my chosen city: Edinburgh, Scotland.
Why? I don't know, I suppose because as a Galician we share some Celtic commonalities: like humility, people who love and respect their land or who
enjoy their festivals and traditions.
During the 6 years I lived there, I learned very valuable things. Among them, to value my land more each time I returned. After training and understanding how tourism works in Scotland, the idea of Rooteiro came to fruition. Rooteiro was as a way of sharing with other people the cultural, natural and gastronomic values that Galicia possesses.
Thus turning it into a paradise that must be shown to the world, but following the premises of social, tourist and cultural responsibility in a sustainable way and involving the local population so that their development will last in time.
